What’s in your pencil case!

Thought I’d show what I sling in my bag with a sketchbook when I’m off to anywhere with potential spare time.

A – Zebra Sharbo diary pen. Just got this today as a present. It has a pen and pencil in it. You just click it to the left or right to choose which you want. The type of pen refill it comes with isn’t very good so I substituted it for a more expensive gel based version.

B – Pental 120 A3 mechanical pencils, in 0.3, 0.5 and 0.7 lead sizes.

C – Faber-Castell clutch pencil. I use this mostly for larger drawings. It even has it’s own lead sharpener in the top.

D – Rotering Rapidograph 0.25. I use this very rarely as it can be quite difficult to use. But it gives a very clean, consistent, thin line. It’s tip is totally metal (no ball or fibre) so it is very scratchy if not used properly.

E – Sakura Micron 03. Another recent purchase, and really liking how smooth and consistent it is. I’ve used a few different types and found this make to be the best (so far).

F – AIN lead refills, 0.3 and 0.5 size. The only type of pencil lead I use, they’re good quality and come in a handy container.

G – Faber-Castel 3B cluth pencil refill.

H – Pental rubber refills.

I – Steadtler Rubber
