This is the first image I can up with. A pretty quick watercolour that I did a while ago and lost interest in. I wanted the idea of a place that was so well protected that the people that lived there had become forgotten about. A sort of lost civilization.

I re-visited the above image recently and thought I’d have another crack at it. So here it is, as you can see a few thing have changed hopefully for the better. Like the first image I wanted the setting sun just striking the top part of the out-crop.

Here is the image transferred to watercolour paper, hopefully I’ll make a start on it this weekend.
